Gateway Global’s Career Exploration Event Series, hosted in partnership with Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri and Scouting of America, brings together two powerful experiences—GeoGirls and GeoScouts—designed to inspire, empower, and engage youth in grades 6–12 as they explore careers in STEM, geospatial intelligence, and technology.

Across both events, participants will rotate through four immersive, themed career rooms—Land, Sea, Sky, and Space—each highlighting exciting industries, emerging technologies, and real-world career pathways.

In every room, participants will:

• Engage with industry professionals and mentors from global industries

• Explore careers in geospatial intelligence, technology, and STEM through interactive activities and guided conversations

• Participate in hands-on experiences such as designing a neighborhood, tracking marine vessels, analyzing satellite imagery, and solving real-world challenges​

 

This unique experience is designed to:

• Spark curiosity about STEM and geospatial career pathways

• Build confidence by helping participants see themselves in innovative, high-impact industries

• Create meaningful connections with professionals and potential mentors, shaping the future of technology

By the end of the day, participants will leave with new skills, new knowledge, and renewed inspiration—empowered to imagine and map out their own paths toward future careers in STEM and innovation.
